There are certain songs that only one artist in the world can do the way they should be done. Other artists can come close. But nobody else can do it with the perfect imperfections.

When Steven Adler recorded the drums for Appetite for Destruction, he cemented one of the most iconic sounds in history. Slash and Izzy Stradlin have both said that Steven’s unique drums are one of the big keys to the success of those songs.
I’m not saying nobody else can play great versions of Guns N’ Roses songs other than the original musicians.
