I’m a pretty lucky guy. I get to do a lot of really cool work. I produce a television show, I host a hit radio show, I write theatre reviews and entertainment features, and I handle PR for some amazing clients ranging from celebrities to notable brand names. As extra gravy, I still get to make a movie or a do a play from time to time.
One of my public relations accounts is Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses fame. Steven was one of the keys to creating the classic sound of GNR and he continues to thrill audiences around the world with his incredible music.
Steven is just an amazing guy, and his whole solo band is incredible. They are magnificent musicians and the best bunch of guys you could hope to meet.
One of the keys to Steven’s continued success is his ability to authentically recreate the same raw intensity and power that GNR had when they recorded their groundbreaking album Appetite for Destruction. To do that requires a singer with the unfathomable vocal range of Axl Rose. That’s a tall order.
Ari Kamin is the singer Steven Adler’s band, and he is the rock n’ roll experience personified. Ari has Hollywood good looks; a charisma that radiates confidence and an almost magical star quality; and a voice that has all the soaring power, sultry sensuality, and raw animalistic intensity that Guns N’ Roses fans crave.
Of course, everyone is fascinated with Steven Adler’s story. He has lived an incredible life and has survived hardships yet still remains the nicest guy in the world. Ari, too, has a fascinating story.
I mean, when you think about it – it takes a pretty remarkable talent to faithfully recreate the exact feeling of Guns N’ Roses’ days on the Sunset Strip. That’s what Ari does on a nightly basis.
I recently had the chance to sit down with Ari to talk about his experiences as the frontman for one of the greatest drummers in rock n’ roll history. In fact, Steven himself chimed in to sing Ari’s praises – calling him a “true star” and the next best thing to being on stage with Axl Rose.

Because they are so incredibly talented, Steven, Ari, Michael, and Alistair are always in demand and often play shows alongside other greats of the music industry. In fact, when it comes to Ari’s staggering singing, his talents have been praised by the likes of members Kiss, Extreme, Foreigner, and Dokken.
