Scout Taylor Compton –Legend in the Making

Horror film website Bloody Disgusting did a really nice article on Scout Taylor-Compton, the star of my latest acting gig The Lurker.

I have to say that I absolutely loved working with Scout.

She is an amazing actress – so professional and talented.

Not only that, she is a down-to-earth person who took time to hang out with the rest of the cast rather than secluding herself during down time on the set.

She made a real point in learning all the names of the cast and crew, and sought me out at the end of my last day to praise my own talents and thank me for a great shoot together.

Scout appeared in small roles in film and television until her breakthrough role as Laurie Strode in the 2007 horror film Halloween. She reprised her character in 2009 in the sequel Halloween II. Since then she’s starred in many movies and guest starred on a number of popular television shows including CSI, NCIS: Los Angeles, Grey’s Anatomy, and Nashville.

Scout’s best role, in my opinion, was playing rock goddess Lita Ford in the 2010 biopic film The Runaways.

The sky is the limit for Scout. I know we’ll be seeing a lot of Scout in the future as her career continues to blossom.

Peace. Love. Trust.
