Windy City Bulls Suffer Heartbreak Loss

CHICAGO (December 22, 2017) – It was a heartbreaking loss for the Windy City Bulls tonight to the Greensboro Swarm, falling 101-105.

For those not familiar with the Windy City Bulls, they are the minor league (G-League or Gatorade League) affiliate of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls.

I am well known for my love of the Chicago Bulls. I am such a devout fan that I insisted the cover of my first novel, My Fractured Life, feature only Chicago Bulls colors.

The Windy Bulls had their inaugural season in 2016-2017 and were a fun team to watch. The 2017-2018 season saw the addition of two amazing players to the team: point guard Ryan Archidiacono and shooting guard Antonio Blakeney.

After the departure of Jimmy Butler from the Chicago Bulls, Blakeney has become my favorite professional basketball player – and deservedly so. He is the leading scorer in the league, averaging over 36 points a game.

If you get a chance, I encourage you to check out a Windy City Bulls game. They conveniently play at the Sears Center Arena in Hoffman Estates. Also, the majority of the WCB games are broadcast on Facebook – making viewing easy.

They are an exciting team to watch. You won’t be disappointed.
